Then it probably won’t make it. Ruston needs a place for breakfast without the word House in the name. But it still needs to be affordable.

It's good but a little on the pricey side. The one over here in Monroe does a pretty good business. Sometimes have to get reservations just to eat breakfast!

If they handle business like the one in Monroe does, they will make it...

Folks will pay a premium for great service and good food

The service part seems to be the problem in Ruston.

This is excellent news for Lincoln Parish diners. Owned by Glen Lewellyn and his wife, the service staff will be well trained and the food is inviting. We eat in the Monroe store every Sunday . . . if we remember to make our 12:15 reservation by Friday (Monroe 1st Baptist just moved nearby!)

This is not Glen's first Ruston rodeo. He came from the popular WM Chili's to open the Ruston Chili's which became very popular.

He's trained with the Paula Deen organization in Dallas and managed the Monroe Copeland's. Professional Staff training is his calling card. His wife is the chef.

They toured the South to find the right recipes for their Delta Biscuit concept and have hit a home run.

What is the deal with college students not wanting to work? Do scholarships cover gas, rent, utilities, groceries, books, and tuition? Friend owns Log Cabin and had a fit getting servers after the covid lull. Still the best place to eat in town, because of the service first and food is good.

At least a 4 million renovation cost on the building maybe more. Tax credits are available to recover some of it….how much can they charge for biscuits?

We've never had a bad experience there. The last time we went I commented about how nice it was to have a hostess and server who don't look like they fell face first into a tackle box. Also, no neck tats.

Interesting. I love a success story like this.

Side note: Based on WM Chili's and Copelands current status, I hope he never leaves Delta Biscuit.
