Yep, especially true in the back, as the easy give-away goals demonstrated. Two defenders looking at each other, each expecting the other to attack the ball. Neither did.

Of course, that's what makes our pick-up games on Sunday afternoons...er evenings, after 6 (too hot).....more fun. Last time, my side won 8-5! No cohesion on defense.

Saw a replay of the Celtic vs SC Portugal match at Fenway Park....packed 30K+ in there. Had to turn people away, no seats. Yeah, all those Mexicans in Boston...I know.

For football? Nope, for soccer: LA Galaxy vs Real Madrid.

Unfortunately, on the pitch, another butt-whupping emphasizing the gap between where we are and where we need to be. Don't be fooled by the final score, 3-2 Madrid. They started their back-ups and put in their regulars after the half, down 0-2. Took all of 25 mins for Madrid's regulars to hang three on the board. Ugh!

Hopefully that was Bob Bradley's last as coach.
